Episode 101 - Ric Mixter

Interviewing Ric Mixter was a real treat. Ric Mixter is the owner of Airworthy Productions and has been active in the TV and video production industry for the past 20 years. A native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Ric moved to the Flint/Saginaw/Bay City area to pursue his TV career. After a number of years as a TV news cameraman, reporter, host and executive producer, Ric left the news industry to work in the promotional video field. Over the past 10 years Ric has worked with a variety of companies on promotional video and commercial work as well as on a variety of TV shows including his own PBS series, Great Lakes Indepth. Ric has also produced a variety of documentaries including DeepSix, Final Run: Storms of the Century, The Edmund Fitzgerald Investigations and Safe Ashore: The 1940 Armistice Day Storm.
